 Who is Lord Krishna? भगवान कृष्ण कौन हैं?

Shree Krishna

One of the most adored and beloved characters in Indian mythology, Lord Krishna is a central deity in Hinduism. He is thought to be Lord Vishnu's eighth incarnation, or avatar, who in Hinduism is regarded as the defender and preserver of the cosmos. The Supreme Being, the ultimate truth, and the personification of heavenly love, compassion, and wisdom is worshipped as Lord Krishna.

Hindu scriptures claim that Lord Krishna was born to King Vasudev and Queen Devaki at Mathura. He was born in a cell because King Kansa, the wicked twin of Devaki, had locked up his parents. The infant Krishna was surreptitiously transported to the nearby village of Gokul in order to avoid Kamsa, where he was reared by his foster parents, Nanda and Yashoda.

It is a well-known fact that Lord Krishna enjoyed playing the flute, stealing butter, and mesmerising the gopys with his entrancing melody as a child. His followers loved him for his lively and mischievous character.

The Mahabharata, an old epic in which Lord Krishna serves as the charioteer and guide of the warrior Arjuna, is one of the most significant occasions connected to Lord Krishna. The Bhagavad Gita, a conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna, provides profound teachings on duty, righteousness, and the road to enlightenment.

The teachings of Lord Krishna stress the value of devotion (bhakti), selflessness, and the pursuit of goodness. He urges his followers to give themselves over to him and establish a love connection with God.

Lord Krishna showed his followers his heavenly form vishwaroop and performed numerous great deeds and miracles throughout his lifetime. He is a revered and adored person in Hinduism because of his teachings, exploits, and divine leelas (divine sports), which continue to inspire and direct millions of people worldwide.
