What is the importance of Lord Shiva's Trishul?
Hindu mythology's Lord Shiva's Trishul (Trishul), an iconic and potent weapon, represents the three basic functions of existence: creation, maintenance, and annihilation. It has three prongs or points, which stand in for the sattva, rajas, and tamas gunas of nature.
The Trishul is a significant weapon in Lord Shiva's arsenal because it symbolises his mastery over the three gunas and his capacity to uphold harmony and balance in the cosmos.
