Parvati, who represents Shakti, demonstrates a love of power and its use. She represents the power that created the universe and is ultimately to blame for its destruction. Parvati is referred to be the Shakti of Lord Shiva since she is one with him and acts as his Shakti. Her strength would not have been possible without Lord Shiva. Therefore, the actual Shakti of Lord Shiva is Parvati or Shakti, who is in charge of the beginning, maintenance, and end of the universe.
